A Cultural Breakthrough Event
22 was a landmark moment for Nouveau Society, held on 22 January 2025 in collaboration with Hluri, Swiss Series, and a network of creatives who helped bring the event to life.
The house party drew an overwhelming turnout, with the venue completely flooded by guests—many of whom arrived wearing retro football, basketball, and baseball shirts, visually representing the very culture Nouveau Society promotes. This was the first major event of the year, and it set the tone for the brand’s direction, proving that there is a strong and loyal market for retro-inspired streetwear experiences. 22 became more than a party; it became a cultural signal that Nouveau Society was entering 2025 with intention, reach, and legitimacy.
NS Till Dark
Nouveau Society’s Most Ambitious Cultural Experience
The NS Till Dark event, hosted on 11 October 2025, was Nouveau Society’s most creative and ambitious cultural activation to date. We filled a double-story party bus with over 60 guests and supplied nearly half of them with Travis Scott concert tickets, transforming a simple transport plan into a fully curated shared experience.
An idea many considered “too bizarre” to execute became one of our biggest triumphs, proving the brand’s ability to deliver bold, imaginative concepts that resonate deeply with youth culture. The journey connected people to the local scene—especially newcomers who discovered more of South Africa through us—while drinks, music, and a high-energy atmosphere set the tone. A special performance by DJ Swiss Series and the charismatic MC Lefa Mabowa elevated the night further, turning NS Till Dark into a cultural moment that showcased Nouveau Society’s capacity to unite fashion and experience in an unforgettable way.
Liberty City
A Blockbuster Cultural Experience with Uncultured Behaviour (UB)
Liberty City is a world built on music, fashion, and connection — a temporary escape from responsibility, a release of stress, and a return to identity.
Inspired by the universe of Grand Theft Auto, Liberty City was curated and delivered through a collaboration between Uncultured Behaviour (UB) and Nouveau Society, blending digital imagination with real-world culture.
The first edition, hosted in Hatfield, Pretoria, on the rooftop of Urban Quarters, reached full capacity. The space became a canvas of individuality, with guests expressing themselves through retro sports shirts — each outfit contributing to the visual identity of the night.
The atmosphere was driven by sound. Heavy-hitting hip-hop basslines and the persuasive rhythms of Amapiano carried the energy from start to finish. The music lineup — DOC x KUKS, Cori 012, Tiego, and OT — delivered seamlessly, track after track, with no misses, keeping the crowd fully immersed.
Liberty City stands as more than just another event in our archive. It represents a living concept — one that evolves with every crowd, every moment, and every expression of culture. Because of the turnout and the energy shared, this is not a closed chapter.
This is the beginning of a continuing world.
We’ll see you in the next one.
